Nothing positive because the place was closed; I even sent photos proving it was shut. Nothing happened.

They cancelled our booking after we had already driven 350 miles to get there.

The idea of staying on a yacht sounded fun, especially for the kids, but finding it was hard, and it was much bigger than we expected, making it unsuitable for a family of four. The gap between the pontoon and the yacht was large, so getting on and off was a struggle, the door couldn’t lock, and once on board it was uncomfortable with an awful smell. We had to find another place that was clean and safe for our family, turning what should have been a memorable stay into a regrettable one.

The spot was great and the deck was perfect for sun‑drinking. The room’s description said it had two double beds, but that wasn’t true; we ended up sleeping on the sofa and benches because they seemed to offer more space.

The location was fine, but the boat was hard to find and the owners ignored calls and emails. It was much smaller than it looked, the beds were tiny, and there was nothing romantic about it. Trash was on the seats, no electricity, a melted power pack at the back that made safety questionable, and the coffee machine didn’t work. Breakfast was just a loaf of bread and a bottle of milk in a cooler with ice. There was no TV, stagnant water under the boards that smelled, and wiring hanging from the ceiling. When it rained, water leaked through the roof in several spots, soaking our bedding and clothes and leaving puddles on the floor. The hatch door didn’t close easily from inside and its cover had a hole that let water in. Having stayed on boats before, I know this is unacceptable. I filed several complaints that went unanswered, and I’d recommend avoiding the disappointment of what was promised but not delivered.
