Is this a scam? The host never responded to arrange the keys, and I left several voicemails while stranded at Paddington station, hoping my £99 will be refunded. I hope no one else falls victim to this.

Morning of the day we was meant to arrive i had to chase the property for instructions to be advised been trashed by previous people so cant now stay there. Not thw property fault in that but it was the property who advised nothing direct feom booking com. As above again formal complaint going in

They cancelled my reservation the night before departure. That’s all I have to say.

I booked a room and when I arrived there was no bathroom. The person in charge said I should have read the amenities, but my booking clearly listed a shower, etc., but no WC in the common area. In the end we paid £80 more for a triple room for one person just to get a private bathroom.
