“Fuyez cet hôtel”

Besides the wooden house and the idea of immersing yourself in a more authentic Thailand, we liked nothing; even though the price wasn’t high, this hotel has been the worst in Asia for five years. The reception was closed when we arrived because our flight was delayed by 2 hours and they blamed us. The room was awful: the bathroom was outdated, the windows wouldn’t close, light from the hallway leaked into the room, the beds were terribly hard and somewhat dirty. Breakfast was terrible, only three fruits that were already bruised and cold eggs. We decided not to stay the second night and the manager, who spoke no English, accepted a free cancellation. The worst part was that after leaving the city we learned there was actually no free cancellation, so we lost a night… in short, it was a disaster.

A small, timeless corner that was very pleasant and quiet.

The family was very helpful and nice, bicycles could be borrowed for free, breakfast was good, and they were very attentive. However, there were no duvet covers (!), and after asking three times we still didn’t receive any, so we had to sleep on linen towels. Communication was hard because no one spoke English. A large gap under the door let insects and other creatures in. There was a door to a stairwell/another apartment that couldn’t be closed or locked. A big hole was in the floorboards. Unfortunately, there was no coffee.

Everything is perfect in this resort; nothing to complain about.

Breakfast with fruit, coffee, eggs… efficient. The room was pleasant, atypical, all wood. The décor was very good. The bed was not very comfortable, the mattress was hard.
