Breakfast was surprisingly good, with fresh pastries and strong coffee, and the staff greeted everyone with a smile and were quick to help with anything we needed.

In the middle of the night a pipe burst and water started pouring into the room, waking us up and forcing us to deal with a soggy floor until maintenance finally showed up.

The staff were genuinely helpful and the hotel is within walking distance of the city centre, exactly as advertised, but the mattresses felt old and a bit stiff – they weren’t luxurious, yet they managed to get us some sleep.
