FAIRFIELD MOTEL OF WINNSBORO

“I enjoyed the one story area where my room was located.”

The hotel sits right next to a shopping center, so I could stroll across the street whenever I needed to shop, and everything I expected was actually there; the front desk staff were very helpful.

“Slum,unsafe, dirty”

I arrived to find crowds of people idling around, many of whom seemed to be residents of the hotel, and piles of broken furniture stacked outside the rooms with doors wrapped in plastic, giving the place a grim vibe. The carpet in my room was filthy and the tiles felt tacky, so I left feeling unsafe and never returned.

The location was handy, but the facility was the dirtiest I’ve ever seen; I had to switch rooms because the sheets were so soiled, and the carpet was so grimy I couldn’t take my shoes off. Almost every surface looked like it had been wiped with a dirty rag, so I slept poorly, got up early, and left without coming back.

The staff at this hotel were super friendly and welcoming, which made a big difference in my stay. They were always happy to help with any questions or issues I had, and it felt like they genuinely cared about their guests.

“Okay for a one night stay”

I was pleasantly surprised by the coffee at this hotel - it was really good. However, the breakfast options were pretty limited, with only cereal available. The location was great, with plenty of stores and restaurants across the street, and it was also close to my destination. But, despite the sign saying renovations were recent, my shower wasn't working, which was a bit of a bummer.
