The breakfast was good, but the service was very slow, probably because many guests arrived at the same time; more staff or a buffet style breakfast might help. I had a shared bathroom, which I knew about, but as a plumber I noticed the layout was poor: the toilet was squeezed between the washbasin and shower, making it difficult for larger people; moving the washbasin about 500 mm to a corner would have helped. The TV aerial in the room needs fixing, as the picture pixelates. I don’t think the current owners have had it long.

Close to the train station and about a 5‑minute walk to Coral Island, Primark, and more. The two staff I chatted with were lovely and I couldn’t fault them. The bed was a bit uncomfortable, but for the price it’s acceptable. I’d suggest adding another staff member in the mornings during busy breakfast times to ease the load on the person taking orders and delivering food.

Every time we head to Blackpool, we book this place because it’s always a solid deal, spotless, with a tasty breakfast and friendly staff. Even though breakfast was packed and everyone arrived together, we still got served promptly and the short wait was fine.

The location is good, the staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, and it’s decent value for what we paid. The room felt a bit cramped and the breakfast could have been better.
