The hosts were very friendly, the apartment was well equipped, and the balcony was great. The mattresses, however, were bad and made the sleep unrefreshing. Because it was warm and there was no air conditioning, I had to leave the window and balcony door open all night. The whole village is extremely noisy from traffic, apparently all of Rheinhessen drives through the village toward Mainz, and tractors keep coming until almost midnight when the season is on. Without earplugs I couldn’t sleep at all, something I never expected.

The location was very convenient for us, close to the Rhine/Main area and near the North Palatinate. The apartment was functional and the owners were very friendly. The only downside was that the path to the house entrance was poorly lit at night.
