“Good food, good staff, lovely beds”

Good food, though continental breakfast a little small. Bedroom great, comfortable beds. On the numbers staying it was keeping up the standard well. My sister got married here some 50 years ago. Our only personal problem was the stairs, hubbies knees are going. Tje bathroom window in room 9 needs replacing. My eyesight is going so please read above

“lovely weekend away”

The food was great alwas freash .nice beds. great. atmosphere in the bar and restaurant.nothing was to much trouble.Lovely dekor. For old people we need a bath mat in the bath and hand rails No toilet brush better tea and coffee replenishment. Very tatty lamp shade neddded two bed side lamps. Fluff and dust in places

Room was nice , bathroom nice and big We had lunch, food was lovely. Decor a bit shabby, needs attention in dining room and bedroom Bathroom had a lot of dust around the top of tiling . We had breakfast, came out only luck warm, didn't like the sausage so both were left

“Very comfortable, but some improvements are necessary.”

The welcome me and staff are exceptional. Their helpfulness could not be faulted. It is a shame I could not contact them once I retired to bed. The internet does not work. I expected better. I tried to call reception, because t there was no answer and the “mailbox” was full. I was told by some vile AI that I should try another time. The room was too hot & I did not know how to reduce the temperature. My husband, thank heavens woke & turned the radiator off. The window was not able to be opened
