The location is perfect for visiting Mutianyu Great Wall and is quiet; the manager will escort you to the ticket office for free in the morning, otherwise you can take a Didi; the hosts are incredibly kind and helpful; homemade meals are very good and there are vegetarian options; they also offer a transfer from Beijing which is very convenient; the room was spacious, clean, and well equipped.

The homemade meals were tasty and straightforward, worth the price for simple, flavorful dishes. The hosts were polite and offered to drive guests to and from the Great Wall Mutianyu, including the entrance fee that matched the gate price. They also drove us back to Beijing airport for a reasonable fee, one to my friend and one to my hostel. The place felt comfortable and enjoyable, and I’d recommend it.
