I experienced the fastest check‑in I've ever had, even after staying in a TON of hotels. The room was great, the lobby beautiful, and the overall vibe was very positive. Nothing to complain about.

The location was good. For the price, you get no points, and breakfast requires you to change your food selection at the bar for that cost.

The Starling is a lovely hotel in a great spot and budget friendly. The staff were friendly and our room was lovely. We chose it specifically for its pool to unwind after our World Cup trip, but the pool was out of order for our entire stay. The hotel’s sister property had a pool about a ten‑minute walk away, which was a bit rowdy at times.

Everything was nice, but I expected a higher grade of towels. They were what you'd expect at a pool area.
