The location is perfect for a night’s stay if you’re traveling along the Mulderadweg, and Hans, the owner of the independent dance café, made the breakfast fresh enough to soften the frustration over the overpriced, otherwise unsuitable pension accommodation; the overnight rate was far too high for a clean house and room that are in a completely different price class, and when we arrived no one was on site, but the pension owner was reachable by phone, surprised at the booking made an hour earlier, and after a 15‑minute wait on site she finally let us in… there’s no cancellation option and the overnight fee is due at booking, so you only realize the price when you get there.

The staff are friendly and nice. The surroundings are quiet. There are enough parking spaces.

The owner of the Shamrock tavern, who claims his restaurant has nothing to do with the inn, lifted the rather dull atmosphere with his service. He offered a solid breakfast, dinner, and even an enlightening conversation. A special thanks to the man whose name fits: Mr. Shamrock. The only good thing is that I always keep toilet paper in my bike bag for such cases; searching for it in the room was futile. It can happen.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, always asking if we needed anything, even for breakfast. They gave us ten stars and a lot of thumbs‑up emojis. The only downside was that the TV in our room didn’t work because the antenna cable was missing its plug, and there was no small trash bin in the bathroom.
