The spot is handy – just a short walk to the beach and you can even stroll to a couple of other beaches if you feel like it. Julio and Nanci are really on the ball, and the breakfast spread (water, tea, coffee any time, biscuits and a surprisingly good rapadura) was solid. The bed was comfy and the shower worked fine, but the bathroom left a bad taste: the rug was covered in someone else’s hair and there were bits of a ripped cardboard on the floor when I got in.

This place can’t be beat for location – it’s right by the beach and a stone’s throw from a bunch of bars and restaurants. The owners are polite and always ready to help, and the morning buffet with fresh fruit and breads was tasty. I’d say it’s a no‑brainer to stay here again.
