The place had a nice location and good parking, but it was incredibly hard to order breakfast—first tried online, then called and they promised to add it, checked in and asked another question about whether we should have breakfast, it was added again, and they said the room number for breakfast is where they will find us?

I stayed three nights in this excellent hotel, in a great location with attentive staff. It’s next to the Voss train and bus station but there was no noise or disturbances from that. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and it was kid‑friendly – we loved the free shuffleboard and the Nintendo in the lobby, as well as the gym on the top floor.

We managed to book the place at the last minute after having to cut our stay short at Voss-Myrkdalen lodge because of serious problems there; the rooms were clean, comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was good.
