Getting in was easy, and the bathrooms were nice. However, there was no breakfast despite the “Nilles bed & breakfast” claim, and the offer for compensation was only mentioned after booking and payment. The bed was unsatisfactory and something you would never want to sleep in at home or elsewhere. The house clearly felt like it didn’t host many guests, with minimal warmth in the building (though the rented room had heat), and the entire house, including the room, smelled sour, was sealed in, and damp. I considered leaving without sleeping because it was not at all appealing to spend time there, but I had several hours of drive home and back the next day, so I had to sleep a few hours. Several rooms lacked lamps, so you had to navigate the house in the dark if you arrived late or woke up early (winter period).
