I stayed in a vintage apartment inside a building with an elevator in central Cassino, split into several rooms and sharing a well‑furnished communal kitchen. The room was spacious, clean, and had a small terrace. The host was very welcoming and gave useful directions. I had to book the car park in advance because only one spot is available on site, and there were no mosquito nets. The walk‑in shower had a curtain close to the toilet, which made it awkward as the floor and the toilet got wet.
