The place was well situated and the room was spacious, yet the owner's behavior was very negative; she tried to charge an exorbitant fee, claiming a 4% commission from Booking that actually falls on the customer. The price in dollars and bolívares was already set on Booking, which prevented me from being scammed. As I wrote to the platform, I understand minor variations due to currency fluctuations, but she used the parallel market rate, turning 27,10 dollars into about 65. I share this to warn other travelers.
