We stayed during the low season but enjoyed many sunny days over two weeks. The vibe was chill, and we almost had the beach to ourselves. It’s a beautiful beach where you can find a lot in one spot—the best beach on the island. Staff were helpful and attentive; the room was spacious enough for children, and the bed was really good (Thai standard). We stayed next to the beach in a beautiful place with beautiful people. No complaints.
The beachfront spot was stunning, but the menu was overpriced.
“Ne vas pas là-bas en mars avril, fin de saison ils veulent tous fermer.”
In a week of what was supposed to be a long stay, the restaurant staff served me three unacceptable dishes: a fruit salad for 180 bath that was just bananas under yogurt; on another day I was given rotten pineapple, and when I politely pointed it out the waiter offered the same thing again. I asked him to taste it, and for the third time he said, “if you’re not happy, just go eat elsewhere,” even though it’s off‑season and you have to walk 30 minutes to the next restaurant. They charge for these unpalatable dishes! This kind of treatment is unacceptable. The location is fine, but don’t be afraid of the hundreds of bald mice living in the hotel’s trees, which make a lot of noise at night.
I stayed at this place right on the beach, the bungalow had everything I needed and the restaurant was good, but during the off‑season it was almost empty.

Everything was a nightmare… insects swarmed the room through the screen door gap at night, and there were hundreds of tiny bugs. There was no hot water, no air conditioning, no refrigerator, and no free drinking water—even though you pay for it. I had to pay 100 bath for a refrigerator and 30 bath for bottled water; every little thing cost extra.
