“Disappointed”
Not much to say, the room was too small. The air was heavily scented and the space was cramped. There was no hot water in the bathroom, and a sign warned that you had to boil the kettle. The owner was unfriendly and rude, and showed no sympathy about a serious health issue… I would not recommend.
“Comfortable, clean accommodation for one nights stay”
Easy to locate, clean, and comfy, though it’s positioned on a driveway.
“Lovely comfortable stay and will definately come back when visiting my friend who lives near”
Everything about the property was loved: the location, ample parking, easy access, and clear, prompt communication. All the little extras in the lodge were appreciated, and Shelley had anticipated everything you might need. The place was spotless and the decor lovely.
“Great stop off in the New Forest area. Quiet well appointed little place”
The little 'out house' sits in a quiet spot and has nice little touches, but the bathroom lacks a door—just a curtain—and the 10 am checkout feels a bit early.
“Comfy converted cabin near Wimborne”
Everything you need is supplied—micro, mini fridge, biscuits, pan au chocolat snacks, and a selection of flavored cordials and water—plus plenty of space to store items. A table and chairs in the garden are a pleasant addition. Shelley, her son, and her mum were all very welcoming. The sink in the bathroom had no hot water, which the owner explained upon arrival. I had expected a more rural setting based on the website’s depiction of a lodge rather than a driveway, but overall the place was very nice and comfy; this is simply my honest observation versus expectation.
