The hotel was under repair, so they sent me to a shabby place on the same block without any prior notice—only when they called to charge me, not to inform me about the plumbing issue that forced me to cancel. The receptionist at the replacement hotel had zero tact and a bad attitude, telling me that the sea‑side hotel was closed, yet she added that if I stayed there I wouldn’t be charged more, which was laughable. I didn’t even stay the nights I paid for; I slept one night because the place smelled awful.

The location was good. The beds were uncomfortable.

The air conditioning worked and the bed was good. The Wi‑Fi was terrible and the towels had brown spots.
