The room climate control was good and the staff were very friendly, making it a pleasant trip. Being halfway up the mountain let me enjoy morning and evening walks, but the location meant I couldn’t use delivery food, which was the only downside. It would be nice to have a microwave in the room.

The room was roomy enough that I could park my car right underneath it, and the facilities were decent, offering a kettle, some coffee, shampoo, and a few other items—though the towels were only small. It was marketed as a family room, yet the top floor contains a round bed and a bathtub in the same space, while the downstairs bathroom lacks a door and has a glass wall, which made me doubt the original concept. The light switches were awkward, and the aircon shared a remote with the TV but had no display, so I never knew the setting. There was no reception desk, and no key was handed out; instead, you call the hotel upon arrival and they unlock the garage door that leads internally to the room. You can open the garage from inside, but I’m uncertain how that would work if you stayed for several days and needed to come in and out frequently.

The stay was simple and affordable. I was worried at first because it’s a self‑manned motel and no instructions were given, but a staff member came out and we checked in safely. The accommodation itself is spacious and provides basic amenities. Note that this is a love motel.

The hotel is close to national parks, the room is spacious, and the bed is comfortable. The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke even though it’s advertised as non‑smoking. Check‑in was a bit confusing, but once inside the room it was fine.
