“Alleen redelijk voor een noodzakelijke overnachting voor doorreis naar Labuan Bajo”
The staff were okay, but the spot was awful and there were no nearby facilities.

Nothing, it was a disaster, don’t go. I’ve never seen anything like this, I’m 48 and have travelled a lot outside European standards. The lack of hygiene and dirt at every level—bed linens, room, bathroom (used cotton sticks, etc.)—is terrible.

The AC was a bit rattling, but the stale cigarette and dust smell was awful, possibly asbestos. When we arrived, a staff member saw us and immediately called us “boulé” (a not very positive way to say foreigner). He didn’t speak a word of English and told us to book a room, not realizing we had booked via Booking. His colleague also didn’t speak English and couldn’t check the reservation, so we waited 15 minutes until they found it. Then they took us to the horror that was our room; since they didn’t know we were coming, the room was exactly as left by previous guests, not cleaned. The first thing we noticed was the infectious smell of a closed space and cigarettes that permeated the room, furniture, and sheets. For cleanliness: the floor tiles were broken, almost causing a fall; the sheets were stained and truly dirty, not just residual stains, with hair, dust, etc.; under the bed were cigarette butts and rotten food. The bathroom had no toilet paper or soap, the toilet bowl was broken, no flush, and when we arrived it contained urine that stank. Everything was moldy, seawater leaked from the tap and shower, so don’t expect a shower (no towels either). My advice for anyone staying there: cover yourself to avoid skin contact with the sheets, there’s no comforter. We used a beach towel on the bed to avoid touching anything.

Manageable for a night. The filthiest place I’ve ever seen, and my toilet didn’t flush (no handle). I didn’t shower there because I would have ended up dirtier than before.
