“Clean and great location”

The location was excellent, the staff were lovely, and the room was perfectly clean, but the noise from downstairs was an issue—despite being sold on the hotel being sound‑proof, it clearly isn’t.

“Nie polecamy tego apartamentu”

Na ocenę obiektu wpływ miały dwa bardzo ważne z mojego punktu, a także moich znajomych, czynniki. Po pierwsze okna zarówno mojego pokoju, jak i moich przyjaciół wychodziły na mór sięgający wysokości około 3 pięter. było to bardzo klaustrofobiczne i niemiłe doznanie, Mór był z każdej z 3 stron, nie było nawet widać jaka jest pogoda, dodatkowo, na dole umieszczony został otwór wentylacyjny z sąsiadującego baru, który cały czas dostarczał nam mało przyjemne zapachy. Po drugie apartament sąsiaduje z kilkoma barami w których głośna mechaniczna muzyka puszczana była od około godz. 19.00 do 2.00 w nocy w środku tygodnia ( środa, czwartek), oraz do 4 nad ranem np. w piątek. Nie związane to bylo ze świętem w La Valetcie, które przypadało na sobotę. Tak jak napisałam w apartamencie przebywaliśmy od środy do niedzieli i muzyka z umieszczonych w barach głośników rozbrzmiewała przez wszystkie te dni. Hałas był tak ogromny, że słychać było dudnienie i niemalże drżenie ścian. Kiedy powiedzieliśmy o tym na śniadaniu osobie zatrudnionej w apartamencie, powiedziała, że wie o tym problemie , ale nic nie może poradzić. Nigdy żadne z nas nie wybrałoby tego apartamentu wiedząc o powyższych niedogodnościach. Opłaciliśmy 2 pokoje, z których nie dało się korzystać wieczorem ani w nocy, nie mówiąc już o tym, że w żaden sposób nie dało się w nich spać

“Leider nur für Nachtschwärmer geeignet, wir kommen nicht wieder!”

The hotel sits right in the heart of Valletta’s old town, which is great. The staff are friendly, though the front desk is only open for a few hours each day. Rooms are clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast is decent, and the young woman who runs the kitchen is very kind. Unfortunately the hotel is directly next to a music club that stays open at least until 3 am every night, blasting loud music with heavily tuned bass that makes the whole building vibrate. Sleeping was impossible until the early morning, even the bed and toilet seat rattled, and earplugs didn’t help. After two nights we left exhausted and drained. The owner of the hotel also owns the club, and our complaint was not taken seriously; we were offered to move to a partner hotel in St. Juliens after one night.

“Polecam”

The location in the very center is ideal, everything is close, check‑in is easy, the lady in the hotel is very helpful, the breakfasts are good, they also serve fresh food, the room is tidy, and I even had a balcony—highly recommended.
