I stayed in a cozy older hotel that had a warm atmosphere, but a few things could use an update.

The room was very spacious, spotless, and the staff were friendly; the breakfast was also great. Everything else was fine, except that we couldn’t open the windows at night, even though we usually keep them slightly ajar, but the air conditioning worked well and it was acceptable for us.

The staff were extremely friendly, the location was super central yet the rooms stayed quiet, the Canadian breakfast was good, and the place feels like a home away from home; I always look forward to returning to Dawon Creek and the George Dawson Inn feels like my home there.

The place is in a convenient spot at the south end of town, the exterior looks old‑fashioned but the room was comfortable and clean. Free breakfast was included (sausage/bacon/ham + eggs + hashbrowns + toast + drink). Parking is limited at the front of the hotel, but there’s plenty of extra parking at the back. The price/quality ratio is very good—I’ll stay there again on my next trip to Dawson Creek.
