“Fantastic homely place.”
The place is lovely. The DIY breakfast was top quality, and homemade breakfast bars and shortbread were delicious. Everything we needed was available, and we’re happy to return again. 🤗

It was perfect for our overnight stay. They had thought of everything! The room was very quiet, clean, and the breakfast selection was fabulous. We stayed in the Pig Sty and loved the pig theme.

Very clean with good facilities, and they thought of extra touches like homemade treats, which were excellent. The mattress was a little too hard for our liking, but that’s just a personal preference and not a property issue.

Named ‘the Pigsty’, this was a beautiful place to stay. The room was comfortable, spacious, and had excellent facilities plus its own outdoor space. We loved the breakfast‑in‑the‑room setup—baking to enjoy with our cuppa, then juice, cereals, fresh milk, eggs, bread/toast & preserves, ground coffee & cafetière. The bed was large and comfy, the bathroom was clean with a walk‑in shower, and the location was ideal for a wedding we were attending at nearby Whatton House. We didn’t meet our host, but were given clear, useful information.

Great, pleasant stay. The hot tub was the highlight, and I also loved the shower area. No microwave was a downside.
