Met Matteo multiple times; he’s a friendly, funny, and upbeat host who answered every question and pointed me toward great spots, like a swimming area with a view of Manoal Island and Valletta. The room was spotless, roomy, and had a comfortable bed, ample closets, a desk with plenty of power outlets for charging and working, and a fan that kept the air cool on hot days. The shared kitchen was tidy, with each room having its own clear fridge space and cabinets. The balcony was generous and offered a nice view of the harbor and distant Valletta. The only downside was the location, a bit far from the harbor/Sliema and in a rather urban area—nothing wrong, just not particularly exciting.

We found the place very good; the house is in an excellent, quiet spot, just a 10‑minute walk to Sliema on the main street where all the public transport lines are, allowing quick access to Valletta, plus plenty of restaurants and shops. Matteo was very kind and friendly. The house is huge and the room was clean.

The apartment is very spacious and fully equipped. It was clean and comfortable. Host Mr. Matteo was very kind, gave us dining and sightseeing recommendations, was very professional, and attentive to our needs during the three days of our stay. I would definitely recommend him.
