The facilities were great and the staff were friendly. The stairs to the room were a bit of a hassle.

The room itself was simple, yet the whole forest‑surrounded site had a magical vibe. I didn’t like the stairs to the rooms; they felt unsafe and the metal framework should have been covered in wood, which I think was the original intention.

We booked two rooms: a triple in the new building and a double in the old one. The triple was very comfortable, clean, and roomy, and it even had a veranda to sit outside. Breakfast was delicious and filling—freshly cooked eggs, sausages, bacon, toast with butter and jam, muesli yogurt, and plenty of juice for more than one person! Two local restaurants nearby are good and affordable. Just watch out if you’re given the last room in the old building; toddlers might have trouble with the ladder of three steps to enter the bungalow.
