The view was nice. The shower didn't run, the curtain was in need of replacement, and the shower rod was rusty.

I’m still puzzled by the negative reviews here! When the taxi brought us up the hill, we were amazed by the spectacular harbor view. No one was in the office, but a knock on the staff door brought out a nice, helpful woman. In mid‑May, we were the only guests and were given a lovely, spacious upstairs corner room. The balcony offered a beautiful harbor view, and the entrance corridor gave a lovely view of the surrounding vegetation. We took a nice 45‑minute walk in the hilly neighborhood, far from city noise. The room had great queen beds, a table with three chairs, and a well‑equipped kitchen. The bathroom looked recently remodeled and the water was hot. What’s not to like for a quick overnight before our flight home? The only issue was that the woodwork and paint were old, but it didn’t affect our stay.

We didn’t get breakfast, so we cooked our own meals. The stove was off, so I had to request propane to be turned on. Wi‑Fi worked fine and the view was nice. Finding the hotel was a challenge; clearer directions and signage would help. Ants crawled in the room and the door didn’t seal properly, letting light seep in. “You get what you pay for” felt accurate, but I’m glad we only stayed one night.

The view was great. The location was very remote and I didn’t have a car, which made it hard to get around. I was surprised to see a $15 extra service charge that wasn’t mentioned in the booking description.

The interior was so cute. I wish they’d put bottled water in the fridge for arrival.
