70 m² · 1 large double bed and 1 sofa bed
“Look around before committing.”
It was clean, but the location is just a random suburban street with no cafés or restaurants within close walking distance.
“While the property had positives, several issues impacted our overall experience.”
I really appreciate the high quality of the furniture and kitchen appliances. However, parking wasn’t available on the property, the bed wasn’t large enough for the number of guests listed in the booking, so one person slept on the sofa. Basic items such as bottled water or milk were missing. The ad mentioned a swimming pool, but no instructions or directions were given on how to access it. There was also some noise coming from upstairs during our stay.
“Very enjoyable”
I didn’t get breakfast.
“Koonawarra Guest House”
The place is nice and welcoming, but that’s where the positives end. First, the description says the apartment fits 3 or 4 people; actually the living area has a sofa, not a sofa bed, and we were three. If we had been four, we’d have had to adjust, which feels unfair. The owners’ chatter, late‑night and early‑morning footsteps, and furniture moving are definitely not pleasant. Parking is practically nonexistent; we always had to park on the street because the limited space was always taken. The description also mentions a pool, but it’s at the back, accessible from the owners’ apartment, so privacy is basically nonexistent—like breaking into someone else’s home.
“Exceptional! I didn't want to leave.”
It was spacious, well equipped, and luxurious. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, making me feel like part of the family! I will definitely come back. Nothing was wrong—everything was perfect!
