Breakfast and dinner were tasty and plentiful, though the large selection sometimes felt overwhelming. The hotel is outside and quiet when your room faces the forest, letting you enjoy the peace you needed. Because it was very hot at that time, the parasols were either insufficient or defective; the colorful little shades look cute but were too few and some were broken. I would have liked larger parasols at the cozy corners and on the other side near the elevator.

The staff were very friendly, the cuisine and service top‑class, and the bath and sauna area with spacious quiet zones was great. On arrival, I spotted a spider web at the corner of the bath entrance, clearly visible, and oddly the TV remote was dirty with a film over the buttons that I had to wipe clean. Otherwise everything was very clean. When it came to billing, the hotel offered payment by invoice via Klarna, so I booked and received the invoice before arrival as requested. At checkout, the front desk tried to charge me again for the stay. I pointed out the invoice I had already received, but the hotel staff reacted with disbelief and defiance. The behavior of the office lady (not the receptionist) felt unprofessional and indiscreet. It shouldn’t happen that guests are confronted with discrepancies between the hotel and the cooperating booking portal and are forced into a justification stance. I urge the hotel to contact the booking portal and coordinate the payment process.
