The hotel’s location was perfect, just one block from the Spanish Steps, but the steps leading to our room were a nightmare after a full day of walking around the city.

The location was good, but the room was in an attic that required climbing many stairs with no convenient access. It needed painting and renovation; the walls were dirty and the bed was sagging and uncomfortable. The building’s entrance was a major issue, with garbage left there every night of our five‑night stay, creating a strong unpleasant smell that made entering the building difficult. There were no blackout curtains, so the room brightened in the morning.

The location and bed were comfortable, yet the bathroom was dirty and the spa didn’t work. The room was very small.

We stayed 100 m ahead of the hotel in a separate place in a 3‑person room that was spacious, clean, and had all the features listed. The location was close to everything; we reached the Spanish Steps by train and metro and it was a 5‑minute walk. We felt very secure and the amenities were great. The only downside was that after taking the elevator to the second floor you still had to climb two more floors on stairs to reach the room, which could be tiring if you’re bringing a large suitcase. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Rome.
