“Lieu féerique « easy busy »!”

The location is magical, the scenery breathtaking, and the room, while simply decorated, feels warm, snug and comfortable; the bathroom inside is a welcome relief after a long day. Omar and his assistant were extremely attentive to our needs throughout the stay, constantly ensuring our comfort while proudly sharing Bedouin hospitality and friendliness. We enjoyed unforgettable sunrise and sunset moments, a starry night, a dinner cooked in the sand, tea by the fire, and a camel ride. We’ll gladly return with family, stay an extra night, and recommend this place wholeheartedly. One night, however, just isn’t enough!

“Out of this world both relaxing and enjoyable.”

We arrived at 11.40 not late afternoon as we intended but Omar came to meet us and changed plans to meet our requirements. He is very adaptable and nothing is to much trouble. Omar Gazi is about a 10 minute jeep ride from Wadi Rum village where he meets you. The location is amazing. Lie in bed or sit in the armchairs watch the night sky, sunrise and sunset. The room/tent was clean and comfortable. Navy fleece bedding looked a bit weird but was so cosy. It can get cold at night. The ensuite bathroom was great. Yesin who is chef, guide, ace card player and general handyman took such good care of us. Omar is lucky to have him. The food was amazing served with thought and so tasty. They are both Bedoins and know the Dessert of mountains well which makes your jeep tour even more interesting. You can climb mountains, walk though canyons, sand board or just sit relax and take it all in. Look at his website. We loved getting to know about the history and wildlife. Sond hooks to hang towels or clothes but then again it is a bedding experience

“Esperienza unica”

Experiencing a Bedouin camp with all the comforts. We fell asleep watching the stars and woke up admiring the desert sunrise. A unique experience. Excellent Bedouin dinner. Spectacular jeep desert tour. Omar is friendly and welcoming. Everything I liked.

“Durch und durch perfekter Aufenthalt. Jederzeit wieder!”

The camp is one of the smaller ones, which we really liked. It gives plenty of space for solitude and also a great way to meet other guests and hosts. Omar and Yasin are very warm and accommodating. Whether it’s a night by the fire, a long round of Uno International, or an afternoon as Yasin’s sous‑chef, we felt like old friends from the start. The camp’s location offers shade in the afternoon and the perfect sunrise view in the morning. In our glass‑front tent we could even watch it from bed. Omar’s organized outings (camel riding & jeep tour) worked out well and were especially fun. We could just relax, shut our heads off, and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Because of its remote location the camp is the perfect spot to disconnect from phones and stress for a few days. It was a completely perfect stay that we would repeat anytime!
