It was an utterly fantastic place with a view of sheep from the room, and the fact that the property hadn’t been renovated in years made the stay feel unique; we also enjoyed a wonderful meal outside in the BBQ area.

The surroundings and the house were very nice, it was well equipped with comfortable beds, and Peter was very open‑minded and kind, explaining everything about the region; the nearby Waipiata Country Hotel is great for dinner with good value.
