The hotel is really well hidden in the old town, just a 2‑minute walk to all restaurants, bars, and shops, and 7‑8 minutes to the beach. The pool area is cozy. Breakfast is okay, served outdoors next to the pool. Finding the hotel can be difficult; rooms are accessed with a code or a key from a lockbox. There is no reception or staff except one person in the breakfast area and a housekeeper. Their English is not very good. I needed help when I arrived, and even after calling the hotel number four times, I couldn’t get through. All communication had to go through messages via the booking platform. Room codes and other details differ depending on whether the room is in the “little main town” or on a nearby street. My room had an unpleasant odor, but it was manageable.

Everything is a bit. As a Portuguese host in Portugal, it’s very bad to receive all information in English. The Algarve is in Portugal.

“Great location, breakfast was good, pool area was lovely.”

Right in the heart of the old town, the pool area is lovely. The breakfast area offers many options, and the omelette was the best. The rooms were quite small, but that wasn’t a problem. If they hadn’t been over‑furnished, they would feel a little bigger. We didn’t stay in our room much, so it wasn’t a huge issue, just that there was too much in the room.

Quiet pool, great area right in the old town, lovely room. There are many stairs. Some staff were rude. Gardening was happening in the middle of the day while I was trying to relax. There was no real reception area or a place to leave bags before check‑in, just under the desk. Staff were probably unavailable from around 12 pm.

Nice accommodation right in the city center. The problem was finding the keys to the place. I called around 4 pm after 30 minutes to locate the spot and was told I’d be helped around 6 pm. Luckily I managed with the help of other guests. The signage was poor and there was no street sign, so I almost left with a different booking. Otherwise the service was good, the accommodation was nice, and breakfast was fine.
