When we were there, the park was pleasantly quiet and the beaches only filled up after 14 h; however, the mattresses in the chalet were too soft and the parking fees at the beaches and in towns like Egmond and Alkmaar were too high.

The location and the Europarc itself were great.

The place was tidy and the décor was nice, and the location worked well for us. However, the five‑person apartment felt far too cramped, the bathroom offered no shelves, the water temperature was impossible to set to a comfortable level – it was either scalding or cold – and there simply weren’t enough dishes for five people, with only four plates stored in the cupboard.
