“O hotel é super bem cuidado, com tudo feito para com que tenhamos o melhor da nossa estada lá.”

I had a fantastic stay, complete with all the comfort and a warm welcome from owners Berny and Glen! I have nothing to complain about—just praise!

“This place is a piece of relaxation heaven in the Alentejo. Berny and Glen are fantastic. the food is so so good and it”

The place was impeccably prepared and the hosts Berny and Glen are absolutely delightful. The honesty bar lets you help yourself to drinks, and the sense of peace and well‑being was unmatched. We highly recommend this hidden gem!

“Indeed a hidden paradise”

Berny and Glenn turned the property into a small paradise, with every detail contributing to a holistic holiday retreat that couldn’t be better. The large rooms feature tasteful, individual interiors (we toured all of them), and the outdoor amenities include a big pool and a breathtaking view from the hilltop over Alentejo. Breakfast is excellent, dinner is available if you want to stay the whole day, and the common rooms are lovely. Berny and Glenn themselves are the most gentle and hearty hosts you’ll find, offering recommendations and engaging conversations. We’ll definitely return!

“Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt im Paraiso Escondido – mitten in der Natur, mit unglaublich herzlichen Gastgebern und dem bes”

We spent four nights at Paraiso Escondido and were completely thrilled. The accommodation sits beautifully amid nature—perfect for unplugging. The host family is incredibly warm and treated us to freshly cooked, vegetarian meals, much of which came straight from their own garden. It was by far the best food we could imagine. The surroundings are also stunningly beautiful, inviting you to relax and explore. Absolutely recommended!

Very quiet and peaceful. A 20‑minute drive from lovely beaches and villages. The staff and owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing to note otherwise.
