Nunsmere Hall Hotel

“We would like to return.”

Nunsmere Hall felt like a special‑occasion hotel with very reasonable prices for both overnight stays and evening meals. Attention to detail was evident, such as the white linen and napkins. The staff were friendly, efficient, and the food was very good. The parkland surrounding the hotel was beautiful. The rooms were each named after different shrubs and flowers, which was a nice touch, but we had trouble locating our room even after being given directions, and that was a minor quibble.

The staff and the food at the afternoon event were very good, and the décor was lovely. We liked everything, except for the breakfast. The selection was good, but the English breakfast had over‑cooked bacon and an egg that was hard and dry.

“Nice location, but so SO noisy from others rooms and staff moving around, bed really uncomfortable. Wouldn’t stay again”

The spot is great, but the room was noisy, the bed was uncomfortable, and the heating stayed on with no way to switch it off; a sign warned that windows can’t be opened because of flies and there’s no air conditioning.
