People and place: a kind owner and staff, plus a lake view from the windows. Since I’m used to convenience stores, I expected to get everything quickly, but there was a mismatch with everyday life.

The view was incredible, and the downstairs area turned out nicely. There was only one pillow per bed.

I stayed the night before climbing Mount Otai. The location right in front of Lake Chuzenji was great, and the restaurant food and staff service were superb. They prepared rice balls for breakfast at 6 am so I could climb early, and I was full of energy. Thank you very much!
