The location is good. The facilities and the host leave something to be desired.
“Good value”
A very quiet, isolated place. The owner is very kind. Getting to the location is quite difficult; with a low vehicle you may encounter problems.
The room was spacious and clean, fully equipped, and featured a balcony with stunning views. The bathroom was also spotless. Dining options were available both indoors and outdoors, and a refrigerator was provided for storing food we brought. The place was quiet, and the staff were very helpful, giving us directions to Burnei's station as we were heading up to the Moldovianu peak. However, I suggest checking with Salvamont or the Forest Circuit as the actual trail length was much longer than they told us, especially considering the weather conditions.
The view is nice. The bathroom and the kitchen are lacking.
