The staff were friendly and accommodating, but the place was very run down, the pool was dirty, and the sheets in the bed were ripped.

The staff were friendly, but I stayed here in May 2023 and loved it. I was in one of their Pavilion Rooms – a spacious room with a living area, a separate bedroom, a separate shower/loo, and a bath all in its own space. The common areas were nice, featuring a swimming pool with a deck, a gazebo with tables and chairs for coffee, a small restaurant that also served breakfast, a bar, and room service. Three years later, the difference is stark and they are not kind! I checked in on Sunday afternoon around 1pm and asked about breakfast, room service, and the bar, only to be told they no longer offer breakfast, the bar and restaurant have closed, and if I wanted anything to eat I’d have to go out or order via Grab. I wasn’t told this when I booked. I was told my room was ready, which was good. I walked in and placed my suitcase on the luggage rack, which was chipped and had some front trim snapped off. The lounge is stained and dirty and needs a thorough clean. The wardrobe is also chipped in places, and when I opened the door, more trim fell off 😱😱. The bathroom mirror has a huge crack at the bottom in one corner, and the top around the sink is chipped and cracked. The shower isn’t great, and the towels are a dingy greyish colour and feel rough. The bathroom looked okay until I looked up and saw a huge patch of mould that literally ran the whole length above the bath! The bedroom is okay – the bed is nice and clean (thank god) but the fascia on the headboard is coming away on one side. Some walls are marked and plaster has fallen off in places and left as is. The decking area around the pool is broken in places. The gazebo, restaurant, and bar are still there even though they aren’t used – just a reminder of what they used to be.

The hotel is close to the airport, but it is very run down, with no restaurant or bar open.

It’s very close to the airport and the hotel staff are lovely, but the hot shower is missing and there is loud noise from the fridge.
