The rooms were very nicely furnished and clean, just like the rest of the hotel, and the location in Karpacz is great with a lovely breakfast. Unfortunately, we were the only guests at dinner, so there was no buffet—just a soup and a main course. It was plentiful but not to our taste, likely due to low occupancy.

The location and building are great! The breakfast was a disaster: cold scrambled eggs and dry oscypek. It would have been better served as a buffet rather than plated.

We had three rooms for our eight‑person group, all nice and tidy in a quiet part of Karpacz. I booked the reservation multiple times, so I’m writing more details from our stay. The staff you’ll meet here will make your blood boil. We didn’t feel welcomed at all. From the moment the door opened, I sensed the woman was annoyed because she had to get up from her chair to open it. She didn’t speak English, which was fine for me, and I wanted to switch to Czech because a Czech and a Pole usually get along. The woman used the phrase “you’re annoying me” and stared at us. I’m not looking for a fight, but I was truly irritated. The breakfast staff shouted at the whole restaurant about a problem at one table, didn’t handle it calmly, threw her hands, spoke angrily, and it was clear she blamed us for the poor breakfast organization. I try to be understanding, and I know the breakfast staff was alone with one person in the kitchen, probably tired after the previous day’s work. But staff should avoid such behavior. Breakfast isn’t a classic buffet; the woman brings you a plate of food based on the breakfast type you choose. I was really upset and will never return—I'll change my holiday plans. Truly shocking. If they’re free, I recommend Leśny Dwór Karpacz; last year it was magical—small bakery, English speaking, their own restaurant, and breakfast runs a classic buffet.

The rooms were clean and tidy, though tiny, but for a single night they had everything you need. The staff’s attitude was a real issue; the receptionist immediately slapped a hand on the door as soon as I approached for check‑in, making me feel like a nuisance. She was unpleasant when I said we had a reservation in English, claiming she didn’t speak English and stood in front of the door. I’m Czech, so I can handle Polish, but this level of hostility is unacceptable. When another member of our eight‑person group arrived, she spoke Polish, but the overall communication was still uncomfortable, and she seemed unprofessional. The breakfast situation worsened: we could only start at 8:00, but she didn’t begin until about 8:05. They have a strange system where you can’t choose; they hand you a plate of pre‑cooked food and you pick from options 1, 2, or 3. For breakfast 1 you can choose omelette or scrambled eggs, but without asking, she brought us two plates of scrambled eggs even though we wanted omelette. The situation escalated when more people arrived; she threw her hands around, shouted at the whole restaurant that she wasn’t only serving our table. When I tried to explain we had three extra plates and could take them to avoid waste, she still insisted on keeping them. I definitely do not recommend this place because a single staff member can ruin a nice hotel experience and the surrounding nature. If you read this far, I suggest staying at Leśny Dwór Karpacz instead; we had a great time there last year. Never come back here again—this is not a vacation you want.
