The room was simple, very clean, situated amid rice paddies with AC and a private bathroom; the host was kind and helpful, arranged a helmet for us, gave solid restaurant/warung/therapist tips, and let us check out late, but you’ll need a car or scooter to get around.

The location is perfectly quiet outside the city, about 20 minutes’ drive from Yogjakarta Jl Malioboro’s center, and without a motorcycle it’s less convenient.
