I booked a 12 m² room and ended up with a 30 m² upgrade; overall the place was clean and the breakfast service was good, costing 15 EUR, which is fair. The only downside is that you can only reach it by car or bus line 134.

Hotel Heigl, a family‑run gem in Munich’s Solln district, sits 9 km from the city centre. Its contemporary rooms feature private baths, flat‑screen TVs, and complimentary Wi‑Fi. Guests enjoy a sauna, ample parking, and a high‑quality breakfast buffet served Monday‑Friday in a bright conservatory. The A95 Fürstenried junction is a 5‑minute drive, and Solln train station lies just 1 km away.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and everything was good.

The staff were welcoming, the rooms were clean, and everyone was helpful, but the location was a drawback.

The hotel sits on a quiet outskirts spot and you can reach Munich city centre quickly by public transport; the area offers great dinner restaurants, but the pillows were too thin, though still decent.

The staff were friendly and the check‑in/out ran smoothly even though I arrived around 21:30; the surroundings were calm, the single room was small but tidy, Wi‑Fi worked, and there was a reading lamp. I managed to snag the last free parking spot in the yard, though I wonder what happens if all guests need one. The bathroom was very small, the pillow was very flat and could be replaced with a more comfortable one, and breakfast was too expensive – I can't comment on its quality.
