The staff were friendly and the food tasted good, but the water bill was a surprise. Even after eating and drinking for two people, the water cost €2.50 per night—way higher than places like Stift Schlägl, where it’s only €0.50.

This cozy guesthouse sits on the edge of town with a nice view. The hosts are very pleasant, the breakfast is plentiful, and the meals are tasty. It’s a solid pick for motorcycle travelers.

The hosts are super kind and always ready to answer questions or suggest local outings. We arrived on a motorcycle and felt welcomed right away. When the weather wasn’t great, they even offered a shuttle. Even though the restaurant was closed, they served a full dinner in the evening—awesome. We’ll definitely return.
