The location is simply fantastic, the view is beautiful, and the open-air onsen offers a dream‑like panorama. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, and the provided drinks were pleasant. The hotel feels a bit dated and in need of renovation. For us Europeans, the breakfast (just fish) was a bit one‑sided, but that’s partly our taste. A larger selection would still be nice, yet we still felt very comfortable.

“フナムシが大丈夫な人は楽しめる”

The outdoor bath’s location is stunning, and the staff were very kind and helpful. The women’s yukata had many cute varieties to choose from, which was fun. The room was clean with no dust concerns. Playing Jenga was enjoyable. The bath’s scenery was good, but the area near the sea had too many sea urchins, making it hard to relax in the bath. It was a non‑smoking room, yet the nearby smoking area left a tobacco smell. The room was supposed to have insect repellent, but none was present—maybe it was somewhere else?

“Magical”

The hotel was truly beautiful. The atmosphere felt magical with the view from the window, and the staff were super kind and helpful. We loved the room—it was huge and comfortable, with a comfy futon, soft tatami, and plenty of storage, plus a fridge. The food was amazing, from breakfast to dinner. The sashimi was the best and freshest I’ve had on this trip. There were so many self‑service options and so much food that I was stuffed. The onsen was also fantastic, both inside and outside, though I preferred the inside because I’m scared of bugs, haha. If I return to Japan, this trip is worth the money and the beautiful place. Thank you to every staff member who took care of us! The only thing that would push this to a 10/10 is slightly better cleaning and building maintenance. It’s a shame that some items were ruined by water damage, limestone, the ceiling in the onsen, and other things. This place was so beautiful that I know it used to be a luxury hotel; with some maintenance, it could be even more magical.

“ゆっくりするとができた”

The meals and all‑inclusive package were good. The room was old and didn’t feel very clean, and there were dead insects inside the building.

The kaiseki was a calm, generous spread that tasted amazing—especially the butter‑topped abalone and the beef. Every dish hit the spot, leaving me satisfied. After cleansing in the large outdoor bath, slipping into a yukata and descending the stone steps in the rain felt like a daring adventure, and the view of the hot springs was stunning. The private bath had a rustic wood feel that made it feel like a secret base. The hallway looked like a period‑drama set, which added to the fun. Overall, the food was delicious and the quirky experiences made for a great stay, though I wish the room’s glass windows were clearer.
