The bed was comfy and the breakfast was simple yet filling, yet the boulevard noise outside the hotel and the tiny shower were annoying.

The welcome was excellent, the staff were knowledgeable and gave useful local tips, parking was available, the room was comfortable, a tram stop was close to the city center, breakfast was great, and the price was reasonable.

The breakfast was okay, but the reception staff’s attitude after the announced group arrival was chaotic despite having the full guest list and room assignments; the man at reception charged me again for breakfast and tax, which I refused because we had already paid everything—including accommodation—by bank transfer and I had a receipt, yet he acted as if he didn’t understand; the reception had holes in the ceiling, the B&B network services are usually fine but this was clearly the worst, and we’ll definitely return to the German side where the service level is higher.
