“Ottima posizione, ma pulizia e manutenzione da migliorare”
I stayed at the B&B for three days. The location is definitely the structure’s strong point: it’s very convenient for reaching the Milazzo waterfront, the port and the ferry point for the Aeolian Islands. Around there are also many restaurants and bars, so it’s very easy to find a place to eat. Unfortunately, my experience was very negative regarding cleanliness and maintenance. In the bathroom I found dirt, limescale and several parts that would need a much more thorough cleaning and maintenance. The worst was the presence of cockroaches inside the bathroom, a situation I consider absolutely unacceptable for a hospitality establishment and one that, in my opinion, would need more attention. The kitchen also didn’t seem adequately clean: I found dust and dirt in several spots, even inside the drawers where the guests’ dishes are kept. The sofa bed also showed traces of dirt. I was especially disappointed because I had chosen this place based on previous reviews, where cleanliness and order were highlighted positively. My experience was quite different and I did not find the same level of cleanliness described by other guests.
The location was excellent.
The colors and layout of the room were very welcoming, but the shower head didn’t spray well, though it wasn’t a big deal.
Great location and the owner super helpful! The fridge wasn’t working and sometimes the hot water was missing, but once I reported it everything was promptly fixed.
