“Kellemes szálloda.”
The location was great, only about 10 minutes from the old town, and parking was easy. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with friendly staff. However, the salty part of breakfast was disappointing.

The breakfast was very good and varied. The shower made a lot of noise when used, and the bathroom layout was awkward and in need of renovation. The room smelled of tobacco.

The place was pretty central for everything we needed. The room stayed scorching even with the air conditioner set to 20 °C, so we had to crack the windows open, which flooded us with a nasty cigarette smell and the loud, noisy traffic and crowds outside. The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable, and the price per night was exorbitant for what we got.

The spacious room on the first floor had a window that let in plenty of light and offered sunset views. Cleanliness and staff friendliness were on point, and breakfast was normal. Parking was limited to blue lines for a maximum of two hours, not close to the historic center, and there were lots of cars, so walking to the center took about 20 minutes. The hotel had a bus stop nearby, with two lines that drop passengers at Piazza Guido Monaco, but even from there reaching the Cathedral still takes nearly a quarter of an hour. The lack of lockers is becoming a norm in hotels; perhaps they assume guests stay only a day or two for business or a short holiday, but that wasn’t my case. When you remove the key card from the slot, the air conditioner resets to preset values, so you might find the room a bit cool upon return, especially if you’d prefer it warmer. Overall, these small issues don’t mar the quality of the hotel.

The hotel is located close to the old town, within walking distance, and offers plenty of free parking. Because of a hospital stay for my wife after an accident, I had to extend my stay from one planned night to seven nights. The reception staff did an excellent job easing the unexpected extension, repeatedly arranging a room for me. Over the seven days I stayed in four different rooms. I was grateful to be able to stay here. Besides the outstanding reception team, the rest of the staff outside the front desk also deserve praise for their friendliness, helpfulness, and competence. I ate very well multiple times at the hotel restaurant. The rooms I occupied were all spacious, very clean, and had working technology. Nothing was missing at breakfast. The only remark is that this is a perfect hotel; everything fits.
