“It’s not a place for people who have high expectations.”
The location and spa centre are very nice, but the furniture needs improvement; the room’s furniture is very old and damaged, the mattress and pillows are low quality, the bed is small, and there are few facilities, resulting in an overall low quality experience.
“Agradable sin más”
The outdoor spa was truly enveloping, cozy and quiet, and the pergola’s garden area was also very pleasant. The price‑quality ratio is abusive; it is unacceptable to charge €3.55 for a latte without cream, a generous portion, warm, and without a cookie or chocolate bar, and the presentation is disappointing for a place like this; the same applies to the vermouth we ordered for €5 a glass, which at least was generous. The worst part is that we were never attended at all; on both occasions we sat at the pergola and had to go to the bar to be served, and the tables were full and the service was used. When we arrived at the hotel the check‑in was at 3 pm, the room was not ready for an hour, and we were told we could have something… The vermouth… When we reached the room it was frozen, the air‑conditioner remotes didn’t work, we had to find the light switch and turn it off directly. Regarding the spas, the exterior was fine but the beds didn’t work, and the indoor baths were good except for one room that claimed to be for breathing Eucalyptus… You entered and the room was cold, almost odorless, very dark and gave a bad feeling; there were two tables, one for tea, and the other looked like an altar… With salt stone and a lot of junk that looked messy and with very little presence, plastic herbs or plants trying to hide the device that released the smell, which seemed like a humidifier, it was really ugly and sad, not inviting to stay. Everything else was correct. The reception staff were perfect, very friendly at all times.
“relax i descans”
Everything was very clean and seemed more cared for than other times we have been there, but almost no staff spoke Catalan, at the spa they told us the towel cost €3 and that we should bring the one from the room; dinner was fine, but the second course was all over the place, and there was nothing on the grill.
The restaurant is always perfect, yet the Wi‑Fi disconnects every so often, the outlets don’t work or are recessed, the doors are swollen, the wardrobe doors don’t close properly, the TV channels are not visible, the bathroom window gives access to the terrace of the adjacent room, and the bathroom tap does not absorb water.
“Nickel dans l'ensemble.”
The reception was welcoming, but the leg of the goose in the park was a bit odd.
