Last‑minute booking worked out fine and the price was decent. The AC ran okay and the bathroom was roomy. Reception stayed open 24/7, and the man there handled things professionally and efficiently. Checkout at 12:00 was better than many other options. Street parking was possible, though finding a spot could be tough. The first good impression vanished once the cleaning crew started early. Two cleaners talked loudly in the corridor for hours about their personal lives, as if no guests were around. I politely asked them to lower their voices; one apologized but the chatter kept going for over three hours, ruining our rest. When I raised the issue again, a younger cleaner argued with me, claiming it was normal daytime work, and the team leader defended them. This argument made no sense in a hotel setting. The problem was not that staff were working, but that they were having prolonged, extremely loud private conversations in guest areas. Being considerate of guests should be a basic duty. The situation got stranger when the young woman said she didn’t work at the hotel but at a factory. I asked for clarification, and she repeated the same statement, raising questions about her presence as a cleaner. Another staff member eventually took her into a room and ended the argument. We didn’t want to waste more time escalating, so we left. I’d stayed in several other accommodations in Spain before and after this one and never encountered anything like this. Other issues: very poor sound insulation, no fridge, limited English among staff, and no private parking—only street parking, which can be difficult or far away.
