The layout and design were charming, not up‑to‑date but that made it nice, and there was a pool table; the breakfast was good but expensive, and the hotel was very, very loud in the public areas, which, due to the building’s design, meant the noise reached all the rooms.

The camo was squeaking whenever I moved, and the cigarette smell was unbearable for me.

The food tasted mediocre and the water filter was broken, so I couldn’t drink their tap water. The air conditioner in my room made several extremely loud clunking sounds every time it cycled on and off all night long, and the hallway carpet clearly needed vacuuming.
